We first heard about MyPerfectWords.com from a student who wanted to know more about their services before placing an order with them. We quickly did our research and were surprised to find out they're getting some search rankings.

Given the name of their site, they must have what students need - the perfect paper to help boost their academic performance. But as we delved deeper, we came across customer reviews that highly contrast what they've been promising on their website. This called for the need to place an order with them.

In this MyPerfectWords review, we're going to answer some really important questions:

• What's their service about?
• And if they do have US-based writers, why do customer feedback say otherwise?
• Is it worth investing your money on a company with allegedly bad client record?

The site is owned by one Skyscrapers LLC, a company that's somehow connected to another essay writing service, 5StarEssays.com. What's this got to do with MyPerfectWords? Let's find out.

Pricing System

MyPerfectWords offers custom writing services for high school and university students, as well as those completing their Master/MBA or PHD. Their cheapest offer is currently at $15 for a single-page, high school level essay that's due in 8+ days.

But we know better. This discount is an age-old marketing tactic that's meant to trick customers into thinking they're going to save a lot of money when in fact, they're paying the regular price for a custom paper.

On the upside, they have what they call a "service guarantee" which gives clients the opportunity to pay the initial 50% of their order price upfront so a writer can immediately work on their paper; while the rest will be paid after the order is completed and delivered.

And if you compare their prices with most other companies with ESL writers, they're actually the same price or even cheaper.

So we have reason to believe they don't have a team of 100% US-qualified writers - a stark contrast to their promise on their website - so offering a service guarantee makes sense in case you're not satisfied with the quality of their paper.

MyPerfectWords' services are focused on catering students with various types of writing-related help. Their services can be categorized into 7 sections:

Compared to most other writing services, this is rather good. They have all popular paper types, including book report, presentations, and cover letters, among others.

The number of words per page is at 300, while most services only offer an average 275 words per page.

Guarantees

Refund Policy

MyPerfectWords offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, allowing clients to claim a full or partial refund if they meet the following criteria:

• You wish to cancel an order after the company fails to assign a writer to work on your paper.
• Late delivery due to any issue at the writer's end.
• Client is not fully satisfied with the overall quality of the paper.
• Claims of plagiarism.

I can give this site credit for having a well laid-out refund policy but the big problem is that many of their customers claim to have NOT received any sort of compensation even after contacting customer support multiple times.

As was the case with 5StarEssays, a website that appears to have more than one thing in common with MyPerfectWords (which we're going to explain in more detail later).

Revision Policy

It's a good thing they have a refund policy in place. The company offers free revisions if an ordered paper and the client's initial requirements don't match. You can send a request if you meet the following conditions:

• You can't change the revision prior to submitting a revision request.
• None of their terms and conditions are violated.
• A revision request is submitted at least 24 hours before the set deadline.

MyPerfectWords has a 14-day grace period, meaning you can process a revision request within the first two weeks of your initial order submission. Any request beyond this period will not be addressed by the company and will be considered a new order.

Online Reputation

Most of the answers we needed about this site's credibility were immediately found on their own website.

From there, we saw dozens of "customer testimonials" which were unsurprisingly positive, all with 5-star ratings. Sure, these testimonials come with client names and their location, but we know enough to believe these aren't legit.

MyPerfectWords reviews paint a different picture on third-party sites like TrustPilot, SiteJabber, and BBB. Here, the company has no control of the ratings and feedback, and we came across a staggering number of negative testimonials from verified customers.

The most common complaint we've found was how the paper quality doesn't match with the company's prices (even with the so-called "discounts" in place). Others also reported delayed deliveries. Failure to provide refunds was also a constant theme among these reviews.

Reddit users can also attest to this, claiming that doing business with this company isn't safe because they - and we quote -"are a fraud and wrote garbage paper".

The site is owned by a media company called Skyscrapers LLC and from the looks of it, they have no concrete records about their credibility in the writing service industry. Likewise, we failed to find business records in BBB, which is a huge red flag.

The only other information we've found was that they also own another essay writing site called 5StarEssays.com, a service that we've previously reviewed and determined to be just as fishy as its twin website, MyPerfectWords.com.

Pros

• Upfront payment. Company allows clients to pay initial 50% of order price and remaining half after paper is delivered.
• Rush order available. Paper can be delivered in 12 hours.

Cons

• Shady company background. Site is owned by a company with no solid history doing business in the writing service industry.
• Non-native writers. Some writers are not US-based, unlike what they claim on their site.
• Delayed papers. Reports of late deliveries, with papers that are average or sometimes low in quality.
• Questionable money-back guarantee. Clients complain of late to no refunds.

Our Verdict

Based on our personal experience and the various MyPerfectWords reviews we've gathered and analyzed, we're sad to say this site didn't impress us in the least. The overall paper quality and level of service left us questioning their credibility.

Sure, they strive to do better compared to other academic writing services, but so far we're not satisfied with what we saw. If you're in the market looking for a cheap and reliable writing service for your paper assignment, it'd be wise to look elsewhere and choose another company.
