GrabMyEssay Overview
GrabMyEssay.com is one of dozens of online services that offer custom writing help to high school, college, and post-grad students. While their main focus is essay writing, they also cater to other paper types including dissertation and thesis, research papers, coursework, etc. They even offer editing and proofreading services, as well as CV/resume services for job-seekers and professionals.
Unfortunately, transparency and honesty don’t seem to be a thing of concern for GrabMyEssay. We failed to find any pertinent details regarding the company behind the website - not even an address where their office is based in. There’s no way of knowing their writers’ credentials either, so potential customers can’t be sure if they’re proficient in their craft. Keeping these important details could only do more harm than good for their credibility and their customers’ peace of mind.
There were plenty of things we discovered about this website that’s quite controversial. On one side, you can take a risk and may be satisfied with their service but on the other, you’ll probably end up with a low-quality paper and struggle with getting your money back. If you want to know the real deal, read our GrabMyEssay review to get your answers.
Prices
The price of GrabMyEssay’s services can be steep, depending on some factors like academic level, service type, level of urgency, and writer’s level. If you want to have a paper written from scratch, the starting price is at $14.99 per page, which is arguably about $5 more expensive than your average essay writing service.
Meanwhile, the site is generous when it comes to discounts. They have pretty good offers for both first-time and returning clients. For example, if you’re a new customer, you’ll be welcomed with a 15% discount. Simply use the discount code ‘GME15OFF’ when you place your first order with them.
For loyal customers, GrabMyEssay has a special discount system that offers life-time discounts, which are as follows:
- 5% discount when you order a paper with 15 to 49 pages in total
- 10% discount when you order a paper with 50 to 99 pages in total
- 15% discount when you order a paper with 100 or more pages.
Types of Services
For a company that claims to be a one-stop shop for all your academic writing needs, GrabMyEssay doesn’t offer a lot of services. From their ‘Services’ we noticed that there are only a few types of work they can cater to, such as:
- Essay writing (all types)
- Dissertation and thesis writing
- Research paper writing
- Coursework Writing
- College paper
- Math help
- Lab report
- Editing
- Proofreading
- Copywriting
- Rewriting
- Pre-made essays for sale

GrabMyEssay Writing Quality
GrabMyEssay.com claims that most of their writers are native English speakers with degrees in various fields of study. But after scouring through dozens customer feedback, it’s confirmed that they mostly hire ESL writers from third-world countries.
Some are probably even students themselves - freelancers looking to earn some money on the side. It’s the understatement of the year to say they have mediocre writing skills, when there have been plenty of complaints against writers who don’t seem to have any understanding of basic English grammar rules nor what constitutes proper research.
Another interesting aspect of GrabMyEssay service is a possibility to choose your needed academic level: High School, Freshman (1st year), Sophomore (2nd year), Junior (3rd year), Senior (4th year), Master's and Doctoral. Just curious - Is there such a big difference, say, beetwen Freshman and Sophomore? Or is it just a way to raise the price?
GrabMyEssay Guarantees
Just like any other writing service company, GrabMyEssay offers money-back and revision options for people who aren't entirely satisfied with quality of the paper (or with the deadline being breached).
Refund Policy
The first in line is the "order cancellation" in case you've changed your mind – there are plenty of reasons why such a case could occur, truth be told. If the paper hasn't been assigned at all, you'll get a full refund, whereas if it was, you'll get 70% tops. If the deadline's halfway through, you can get only half of what you paid for. What's worse, if you cancel the order, all content on the paper is off-limits.
The "late delivery" is something you'll be searching for once you realize that the majority of GrabMyEssay writers have a tendency to be somewhat too liberal when it comes to accuracy. Even though each case is reviewed separately, the amount of money you can hope to get back is downright shameful.
On top of that, the policy appears to be in favor of the company – rather than ensuring your security, GrabMyEssay's policies are nothing more than made up leverage which they use to cover the lack of quality.
Revision Policy
Speaking of quality, the "bad quality claims" section is for people who realize that "what they have paid for isn't what they got". They even refer to the people who decide on these claims as "Quality Assurance Team" - it's as if they're employed full-time doing nothing but reading complaints. The user is entitled to free revisions within 2 weeks after delivery, if the original instructions are not met. Again, you'll encounter deviously crafted traps as you read through the policy – each segment favors the company and provides little to no security for the user.

Online Reputation
1. Fake Review Blogs
GrabMyEssay's team managed to create a positive image for both this site and a dozen of other their essay services with the help of a large number of fake review sites. Once again, we want to emphasize: The websites in the left column are 100% false and created by the team that promotes GrabMyEssay.com. Websites in the right column are 100 copies of GrabMyEssay.
Affiliated fake reviews:
2. Realible Review Sites
GrabMyEssay has received a number of positive feedback, but they also have a fare share of negative reviews. And when we say “negative”, they’re absolutely terrible feedback. You can see these for yourself on the website’s SiteJabber profile:
GrabMyEssay has a comparatively low consumer rating compared to other custom writing services. At the time of writing, it has a rating of 3.41 stars, with 217 reviews mostly from verified customers. ~40% of reviews are negative.
One of the positive highlights is that, if you’re lucky, you’ll receive a well-written paper that’ll bring you an excellent grade. This is particularly true for students who have ordered research papers from them. However, some critical highlights are on bad customer service and overcharging. One student even reported that they were charged $150 for just a two-page essay.
On SiteJabber, there is Consumer Alert that says GrabMyEssay has been reported to offer discounts, coupons or other compensation in exchange for reviews. We see this for the first time and it says a lot.
3. It's Not the End
We’ve also noticed some reviews that are calling out GrabMyEssay on their scammy marketing tactics. For instance, some victims are popping up to tell their story about a website that’s affiliated with GrabMyEssay, called TopEssayWriting.org. By spreading tons of fake reviews, this website has managed to fool thousands of students who expected to receive premium academic writing help, only to end up with extremely poor-quality papers.
A quick search on the ComplaintsBoard also revealed some pretty damning information about TopEssayWriting. Turns out a lot of customers have been victimized over the years, many of whom ended up with nothing but papers with abysmal writing quality and an empty pocket.

Preventing these fake sites from doing any more damage is no easy task, especially when they continue to grow in numbers. The best way to save yourself from falling victim to these scam websites is to be in the know and to always check around for verified customer reviews on trusted third-party review platforms.
4. What’s the Deal with TopWritersReview.com?
Speaking of fakes, GrabMyEssay has also been associated with another infamous fake review site, TopWritersReview.com. It’s one of many websites that were created solely to spread fake essay writing service reviews that blatantly badmouths and spreads false negative information about their competitors, while overly promoting and advertising those that are affiliated with them.
In fact, GrabMyEssay is their no. 1 recommendation, while the rest are essay writing services that are known to be its twin websites just hiding behind different names. Rest assured that these services are just as bad - if not worse - than GrabMyEssay.com.
What is WritersHub?
WritersHub.org is a vast marketplace where freelance writers can take on academic writing projects. However, we’ve discovered that said marketplace is being managed by the same company that owns GrabMyEssay. Basically, it’s where they outsource talents and hire them to work on projects that are placed on GrabMyEssay and other writing services associated with them.
The problem with WritersHub is that, writers aren’t properly screened and evaluated for their qualifications and credentials. They would claim that all their writers are native English speakers, but it’s easy to fake profiles. What’s more, many of these folks aren’t even properly compensated, with most of the fees going to GrabMyEssay instead of the writers who are doing the hard work.
When you visit GrabMyEssay.com and the other their websites, you can easily be deceived by their professional web page design and strategically crafted reviews. They would claim that all their writers come from native English-speaking countries such as the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
Source: https://grabmyessay.com/ (information as of January, 2024)However, when you check the membership of WritersHub.org, you will discover that the contrary actually holds true. According to SimilarWeb, more than 98% of their writers are Kenyans who are apparently treated unjustly.
Most of their writers come from other countries where the cost of living standards are low. These writers receive extremely low compensation for every output that they deliver.

Cons
Our Verdict: NO!
We can never recommend a writing service that openly lies about their credentials and the quality of services they offer. As expected, GrabMyEssay.com doesn’t stray too far from the multiple websites owned by the company that runs them. The prices are extortionate, the company background is shady, and they don’t treat their employees right.
It’s been a real struggle to find any goodness in them so with that said, you’re way better off picking another, more reliable essay writing service - one that’s safer, cheaper, and has a better reputation than a site that resorts to spreading fake reviews in order to look good.
